A sophisticated state-of-the-art computer lab with more than 250 computers, uninterrupted power supply, stand-by generator and round-the-clock internet facility is the pride of the St. Thomas Schools. All the teachers are computer literate and have undergone 'Intel Teach to the Future' programme. Technology-aided teaching is effectively carried out using an LCD Projector in an air-conditioned Audio Visual room. The prestigious Computer Literacy Excellence Award at the State and National levels was conferred on the school in 2002 and thus raises it to the position of the nation's best in modern technology.
The first Computer Literacy Excellence Award (State and National levels) was
conferred on St. Thomas Residential School by the President of India, Dr.
A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on 29 August 2002. As a follow-up measure for the same, the
School conducts a Symposium called
cybiko at the State level
for the dissemination of knowledge in the computer field.
